The most hated foods in the U.S. often spark debate, but based on surveys and general public opinion, here are 10 of the most disliked foods:

- Licorice (Black Licorice) – Its strong, medicinal taste is polarizing. People do like cherry licorice, which is really not licorice.
- Anchovies – The intense salty, fishy flavor turns many people away.
- Liver – The texture and strong, iron-rich taste make it unappealing.
- Brussels Sprouts – Though they’ve gained popularity recently, their bitter taste is still a turn-off for many. Try them roasted. You may like that.
- Oysters – The slimy texture and briny flavor are divisive.
- Cottage Cheese – The lumpy texture is a major reason why some avoid it.
- Beets – Some say they taste like dirt due to their earthy flavor.
- Mayonnaise – Many people dislike its thick, creamy texture and tangy taste. Oddly enough, people like Miracle Whip, which is similar.
- Olives – Their salty, briny, and slightly bitter flavor is an acquired taste, yet there are many types of olives, and some are mild.
- Blue Cheese – The moldy appearance and pungent smell/taste put off a lot of people.
Do any of these make your list of most-hated foods? 😆
I actually like most of them. What about you?
