The top 10 Halloween candies

It’s candy season (when is it not) – but Halloween seems to be the time for it. What’s your favorite? I’ve gone from one to another over the years. I would eat one favorite candy all the time, then transition to another and then another. I don’t know how my tastes changes, but I would go from eating M&M’s all the time, to Snickers, then I remember a time where I would have a KitKat all the time and then I am doing Reeses now, which is number one on our list today.

Here are 10 of the most popular and beloved candies that people enjoy year-round, including during Halloween and other festive occasions:

Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
The perfect combination of chocolate and peanut butter, these are a fan favorite and especially popular during Halloween in their seasonal shapes.

M&M’s
These bite-sized chocolates with a crunchy candy shell come in various flavors (like peanut, pretzel, and caramel) and are widely loved.

Snickers
Packed with nougat, caramel, and peanuts, all covered in chocolate, Snickers bars are a satisfying treat with a balance of sweet and salty.

Kit Kat
Crisp wafer layers covered in smooth milk chocolate make Kit Kat a crunchy favorite, especially during Halloween when mini versions are popular.

Twix
With a buttery shortbread cookie, caramel layer, and chocolate coating, Twix offers the perfect blend of textures in every bite.

Skittles
These fruity, chewy candies are colorful and flavorful, offering a mix of tart and sweet tastes in every handful.

Sour Patch Kids
A blend of sour and sweet, these chewy gummies start off tangy but quickly turn sweet, making them a popular choice for fans of sour candies.

Starburst
These soft, chewy fruit-flavored candies come in a variety of flavors (cherry, orange, lemon, strawberry) and are loved for their juicy taste.

Milky Way
A soft, nougat-filled candy bar with caramel and chocolate, Milky Way is a classic treat with a rich, creamy texture.

Hershey’s Bars
Simple and timeless, Hershey’s milk chocolate bars are versatile—whether eaten on their own or used to make s’mores.

These candies are perennial favorites and can be found in just about every candy bowl, especially during the holiday season.
